Leadership Development
God has a plan for equipping His church to carry out its call and ministry. At Redeemer, we strive to function according to His model called out in Ephesians 4:11-12: 11“It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” Simply put, some in the body of Christ are called to serve, and others are called to equip those for their works of service. We believe leaders are called to be equippers. When individuals are operating in their areas of passion, giftedness and strength; and when those called to equip are equipping and those called to serve are serving, the church is a success! Biblically speaking, a few key components comprise the essence of success in God’s eyes—and someone who is successful in ministry will manifest all of them:
Faithful: doing what God has called you to do, utilizing all that He has given you to do it.
Fruitful: possessing Christ like character (the fruit of the Spirit) and exerting Christ like influence
Fulfilled: being filled with a sense of esteem, value, significance and joy as you serve
Making God Famous: bringing glory to God!
